Student Safety
Safety in class and on the range
Safety comes first when it comes to firearms. As a result no ammunition or student firearms will be allowed in the classroom. Any behaviors by students that are unsafe can result in immediate termination from the training. Any student who is dismissed from the course due to flagrant safety violation(s) or inappropriate behavior is not entitled to a refund and will not be permitted back into future courses. This is serious business and the student is expected to treat it with the respect it deserves.
Qualification on the range
Our goal is for you to pass the course. We will work with you to help you overcome any obstacles that may be preventing you from successfully completing any of the course requirements. However, we will not work harder at this than you do. We expect our students to take these courses seriously as peoples lives could hang in the balance. If a student is having a difficult time or is unable to qualify than we will provide as much instruction as is reasonably necessary to help them pass. Ultimatley if a student is unable to pass due to anything other than flagrant safety violations a partial refund will be given or a discount on the next available course.
Student Expectations
Classroom expectations
As the subject material is of a serious nature the student will need to be focused and ready to learn. It is encouraged that the student take ample notes and not be afraid to ask questions. There will be some materials presented that students may find graphic and/or troubling. Please be prepared for this and come into class with the right mindset.
Code of conduct
Each student is expected to behave in a professional and appropriate manner at all times. It is okay not to have a lot of knowledge when it comes to firearms but is not okay to goof around and risk everyone's safety. If you have questions ask, if things are going too quickly for you than don't be afraid to ask us to slow it down. Our goal is to train you in a way that helps you get the most out of it.
